Find Out More About Us
Overview
Marian Neena Kwofie, while she graced this earth, found joy in giving privately and publicly to those who reached out for her help and those whom she deemed to need it, even if they did not ask. She was particularly passionate about young women accessing opportunities to make something of their lives, and whenever the opportunity presented itself for her assistance, Marian gave it her best shot in the same low-key way she handled most of her philanthropic endeavours. The Marian Kwofie Memorial Foundation (MK Foundation) was founded to enable Marian’s family and friends to raise funds to carry on carving the path she started, contributing to the lives of the less privileged, in a more structured and impactful way and leaving a lasting legacy.
Specific Aim
The MK Foundation aims to provide opportunities for young women from less privileged or deprived homes to change their life trajectories by providing them with scholarships to pursue their tertiary education. These scholarships will be open to all the girls across Ghana from deprived homes with no other means of funding tertiary education and inkeeping with Marian’s non-discriminatory outlook on life.
